What makes it handmade?
Mike doesn't just sell hats — he makes them. Each handmade piece starts with raw materials: felt, leather, wool, canvas. He shapes the crown, sets the brim, stitches the band, and finishes every detail by hand in his Minneapolis workshop.
The result is something you won't find anywhere else. These aren't production runs or limited editions — they're originals. When it's gone, it's gone.
The process
Materials
Mike sources quality felt, wool, leather, and hardware — often from the same suppliers he's used for decades.
Shaping
Each hat is blocked and shaped by hand. The crown, brim, and pinch are all set to Mike's exacting standards.
Finishing
Band, lining, and hardware are added last. Every stitch is intentional. Every edge is clean.
Yours
The finished piece ships to you — or you can pick it up in store and try it on before it leaves the shop.
