Minnesota Mike67 is a hat and clothing shop rooted in craftsmanship, character, and a genuine love for the well-made thing.
How it started
Mike's story
Mike has been around hats his whole life. What started as a personal obsession — hunting down the perfect vintage hats at estate sales and flea markets across the Midwest — turned into something bigger. People kept asking where he found his hats. Eventually, he started selling them.
The "67" in the name is deliberately left vague, that's for you to figure out… Mike draws the most inspiration from — a time when things were made to last, when a hat or piece of clothing said something about the person wearing it, and when craftsmanship wasn't a marketing word.
Today, Minnesota Mike67 carries vintage finds, new arrivals, and a growing line of pieces Mike makes himself. Every item in the shop — whether it's a 50-year-old fedora or a baseball cap Mike stitched last week — is something he'd wear himself.

How we do things
Sourced with intention
Every vintage piece is hand-picked. Mike doesn't buy in bulk or flip whatever comes through — he looks for things with real character, real history, and real wearability.
Made to be worn
Nothing in this shop is decorative. Hats are meant to be put on your head and taken out into the world. If it doesn't hold up, it doesn't make the cut.
Handmade when it matters
The Handmade by Mike line exists because sometimes you can't find what you're looking for. So you make it. Each piece is designed and built by hand in our Minnesota workshop.
Honest about what we sell
Vintage means vintage. New means new. Handmade means Mike made it. We don't blur those lines, and we don't oversell condition. What you see is what you get.
The workshop
Where the handmade pieces come from
The handmade side of the business started because Mike couldn't find a hat he wanted. He'd been working with canvas, twill, cotton, foam, felt and leather for years — repairing vintage pieces, reshaping brims, restoring old hats to wearable condition. Making one from scratch was a natural next step.
Every Handmade by Mike piece starts with materials Mike selects himself. The process is slow on purpose. There's no production line, no minimum order quantity, no rush. Just one person making one hat at a time.
